Short news: ABSOLUT WONDERLAND (Gathering series) appeared in Entertainment Weekly (12/9/05; USA). ABSOLUT ICEBAR can be found in Time Out London (November issue, 23-30 2005, UK). ABSOLUT DOM was inside German magazine Der Spiegel (11-28-05; Germany).

The new version of ABSOLUT ETIQUETTE or ABSOLUT FOODING appeared in UK with name ABSOLUT GOURMET. This ad can be found inside December issue of Cosmopolitan (UK edition) together with two more ads: ABSOLUT COLLECTOR (men’s version) and ABSOLUT MORNING.

ABSOLUT RITUAL appeared in Entertainment Weekly (US, 12/2/05). It is the latest ad from the ABSOLUT GATHERING series. If you are collecting LEVEL vodka ads you can find the “bottles” version in Wired (US, 12/05).

Three different ads in one magazine are back in UK. In the December issue of Empire magazine (UK), can be found three ads: ABSOLUT STAR, ABSOLUT ATTRACTION and ABSOLUT IDOL.

The December issue of british GQ has ABSOLUT WEEKEND, ABSOLUT TAKE-OUT and ABSOLUT MONDAY. I have to say that they are nice thematic series.

Together with ABSOLUT GATHERING ad there are new versions of some older classic holiday ads with added text at the and of the end: “After 25 years of great holiday ads, we’re letting you pick up your favorite. Visit absolut.com to make your choice.” ABSOLUT WONDERLAND is one of these ads. It can be found in OUT magazine (December 2005, USA) mentioned yesterday. Another appearance is inside LUCKY magazine (December 2005, USA).

ABSOLUT GATHERING can be found in Entertainment Weekly (11/18/05; USA) right now.

Two more magazine ads from ABSOLUT CITY ATTACK campaign appeared in Germany. The first ad is called ABSOLUT PEGEL and it can be found in Der Spiegel magazine (46/14.11.2005; Germany). Pegel stands for the heights of the water on the river in Hamburg.

Second ad is called ABSOLUT ALAAF which is traditional word from the Cologne area. “Alaaf” stands for the greeting during carnival season. Officially the season begins on November 11th.
