February 13, 2005 14 May 2004 Absolut Icebar launches in Italy

PR: This autumn, the first of the new ABSOLUT ICEBARS will open at Town House 12, the stunning new hotel from Alessandro Rosso and partners, in Milan’s fair district.

The ABSOLUT ICEBAR concept is as simple as it is spectacular: here, visitors will get the opportunity to experience an environment that is otherwise only found at ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjarvi in northern Sweden. February 13, 2005 21 April 2004 New Absolut campaign in UK

Five cities in the UK will see five different adverts, focusing on characteristics of the area. The already launched Absolut Our Kid campaign is the first of these and is unsurprisingly to be found in Manchester. The campaign will be rolled out to London (Absolut Flatshare), Liverpool (Absolut Sound), Birmingham (Absolut Balti) and Glasgow (Absolut Gallus) over the summer and autumn.

Another news from UK says that Absolut has confirmed it is to release a super premium vodka called Level in the UK. Speculation had risen that a release for Level was imminent after the brand was launched in the United States in March. (source: thepublican.com)

It is 25 years ago that the first order for ABSOLUT VODKA was made from the US. The first order was for 700 cases and the very first bottle was sold in Boston. That was the beginning of the success story. ABSOLUT VODKA, which is made from winter wheat from the southern province of Skane, is Sweden’s single largest export in the food and beverage sector. In 2003, 72.5 million liters of ABSOLUT VODKA were shipped to 126 markets around the world. To date, over 1 billion bottles have left the plant in Ahus. Happy birthday!

There are a few universal truths that you can rely on when dealing with an ABSOLUT product: the vodka is always produced in Åhus, Sweden, the flavours are always all-natural, and every new ABSOLUT product will challenge the conventions of the segment to which it is introduced.

As with all members of the ABSOLUT family, the name and bottle design of each new product communicates its personality. The ABSOLUT CUT bottle shares its iconic shoulder and neck shape with ABSOLUT VODKA. April 1, 2004 01 April 2004 Absolut launches Level: super-premium vodka

Level Absolut has launched its new super-premium vodka, Level. The company confirmed the move yesterday, and will back the launch with a US$10m advertising campaign.

On Monday 5 April, Level’s television advertising debuts, marking the first time Absolut has used the medium to support its products. The launch campaign also includes print advertising, public relations, events, on-premise promotions and a web site, www.levelvodka.com.

Level is now available nationwide in the US. The vodka comes in three sizes: 50 ml, 750 ml and 1 litre. It will also be available in a 1-litre size at duty free retail outlets globally in May 2004.

Since this month the new vodka LEVEL made by the Absolut Company is in the US stores. I still dont know the style of it’s advertising campaign but a lot of things can be recognised on the official website.

Latest issue of Absolut News newsletter was issued today and all subscribers should find it in their email boxes. It is first issue in 2004. Usualy it was sent every 14 days but now it took little bit more weeks to reach us ;) What can we read about? Absolut launches new drink search engine on absolut.com/drinks, history of st.
