New ad called Absolut Parr was issued in England in “not yet known” art magazine. It portrayals some kind of party where one man serving Absolut Vodka to few others. Does anybody know what should this ad mean? Let me know in comments. I hope that I’ll find the name of magazine and number of it’s issue soon. If you know it, let me know. Thanks.

NEW YORK TBWA Worldwide has tapped Rob Rosenthal, president of TBWA Latin America, to succeed Richard Lewis as worldwide managing director of the agency’s global Absolut account, the shop has confirmed.
Lewis, who managed the business for 17 years, will maintain ties to the agency as a consultant and is writing a sequel to the 1996 history of the brand, Absolut Book.
The switch enables Lewis to step back from the day-to-day operations and presents a new challenge to Rosenthal, who has held the Latin American post since 1995. Tania Kulb, national marketing director at McDonald’s in Brazil, will fill that job, the agency said.

January 11, 2004 11 January 2004 No Absolut Calendar for 2004
In last years we had a chance to see fashion calendars made by Absolut. Maybe you can remember Absolut Chameleon (2001), Absolut Duality (2002) or Absolut Metamorphosis (2003). For this year 2004 there is no large calendar. Absolut made very practic pocket diary. There are some ads inside the diary covering the history of Absolut advertising campaign. From the beginning in 1980 with Absolut Perfection until today with Absolut Fooding and Absolut Idol. Last pages are dedicated to Absolut Cocktails like Absolut Monsoon, Absolut Lust, Absolut Spring Leaf or Absolut Julep. This diary was sent to people connected to Absolut and TBWA only.

Absolut New Year from Taiwan appeared in another magazine. It is Corning magazine (December 2003, Taiwan) which is a quarterly magazine produced by ADKOM on behalf of Taiwan’s leading upscale wine chain-store. It is displayed in Corning wine stores.

It was few days before christmas when the new issue of Absolut Reflexions magazine (December, 04/2003) was issued. And what can be found inside? There are two full page ads Absolut Self-Control on the back cover and Absolut Tokyo on the second cover page and you can read these articles: Transglobal T-Shirts (informations about Absolut Label - Absolut’s own fashion collection), Living In the Box (detailed article about world launch of Absolut Threetracks), Totally Tokyo (Nightlife in Tokyo), Vodka Reinvented (new super-premium Level vodka is on the way), Ad Dad (Interview with Richard Lewis who was on the beginning of legendary Absolut campaign), Finding the Flavor (who is behind the taste of Absolut Vodka? Meet the professional flavorist.) and many more.

But you can visit this website to download 3 different Absolut HVW8 wallpapers and read something more about this work. Fourth wallpaper is still hidden but it can be already downloaded right there.
