At the Euro Effie awards gala on October 2, ABSOLUT outclassed its competitors and won, not one, not two, but three Euro Effie awards! It’s the first time a campaign has ever won three Euro Effies in a single year. Read more in this news article.The European ABSOLUT campaign, created by TBWAParis, was selected by a unanimous jury as the winner of the Effie Gold Award in the spirits category, the Effie Award for long-term effectiveness and best of all; the Effie Grand Prix for the best overall European campaign across all categories!

This year ABSOLUT competed against seventy-three campaigns submitted from various European countries. The Euro Effies are awarded to campaigns that are effective in at least two European countries. The campaigns are judged not only on creativity but also on the basis of the efficiency of the advertising, the campaign objectives and the performance results. The jury consists of twenty-two professionals from advertising agencies, advertisers, media and European marketing and research companies.

Since the launch of ABSOLUT VODKA in 1979, the ABSOLUT brand has received 320 awards. In 2000 the ABSOLUT campaign won two Euro Effie awards. In 2003 ABSOLUT has already received no less than seventeen awards, including a Gold Effie for sustained success at the Effie Award Gala in New York in June.
