Rumors were confirmed. After the ABSOLUT CILANTRO trademark was registered by The Absolut Company, the photo of real bottle was published on the Facebook. The new core flavour will be a mix of coriander and lime. The ABSOLUT CILANTRO should be available in the USA first.
ABSOLUT VODKA KONKOCTION is a three part limited edition series created for Singapore.
Absolut Konkoction Shaker Kit was the first part of this limited edition. Available at most supermarkets in Singapore since June 2012, this set comprised of two 750ml bottles of Absolut Vodka Original, a 50ml bottle of Absolut Citron, a shaker, a jigger and three cocktail recipe cards.
The new Absolut Konkoction Mixer Kit, available from now until October 2012 comes with two bottles of Absolut Original (750ml each), a mixing bowl and muddler, a miniature bottle of Absolut Mandarin and three Absolut Konkoction cocktail recipe cards. Priced at $139.90 and available at Cold Storage, Carrefour, Giant and selected FairPrice, FairPrice Finest and FairPrice Xtra stores.
Yesterday the new limited edition Absolut Vodka was presented in Turkey. The new bottle is called ABSOLUT ISTANBUL and it’s the second european limited edition bottle in Absolut Cities series. First one was ABSOLUT LONDON. The bottle itself comes in 700ml version and should be already available in the stores.
New flavor for Absolut Vodka is coming. The new flavor is a blend of cherry, white cranberry and sweet plum flavors and is described as having a ‘rich character of sun-ripe cherries, followed by notes of fresh white cranberry and sweet plum’.
The bottle design for ABSOLUT Cherrykran is bright and poetic. “Our goal with the design,” says Global Design Director Anna Kamjou, “was to convey richness and beauty, and to evoke the effervescent magic of springtime cherry blossoms.”
Pernod Ricard claims that the new flavor mixes well with cola as well as with a variety of cocktails.
The release of Absolut Cherrykran follows the launch of other recent Absolut extensions including Absolut Grapevine, a blend of white grape, dragon fruit and papaya, and Absolut Miami, a blend of passion fruit and orange blossom.
The new flavor will be available in different sizes including 50ml, 750ml and 1l. It is priced at $21 per 750ml starting from 1 May 2012.
Absolut Vodka has announced the launch of the latest variety in its range – Absolut Gräpevine.
Combining the flavours of grape, dragon fruit and papaya, Absolut Gräpevine will initially be launched in the US and global travel retail before a gradual roll-out in selected markets.
According to Louis de Fautereau, global marketing director at The Absolut Company, the new product is a direct response to the growing demand for flavoured spirits to add a twist to classic cocktails.
“The interest in cocktails is a steadily growing trend and therefore there is a great demand for products which combine various flavours and are simple to mix,” he said.
“We have already experienced this with our earlier launches of Absolut Orient Apple and Absolut Berri Açaí, which have enjoyed great sales success.”
Like the rest of the Absolut Vodka portfolio, the drink is made exclusively from natural ingredients and does not contain any added sugar.
“Absolut Gräpevine makes it simple to mix creative drinks just by adding a single ingredient,” said Matt Pomeroy, global brand ambassador for The Absolut Company.
Absolut has long led the way in the production of flavoured vodkas. It launched its first flavour – Absolut Peppar – as long ago as 1986 and followed this up in 1988 with the release of Absolut Citron.

Absolut Vodka has launched a gift pack designed to go in the freezer.
The pack contains 5cl bottles of Absolut Raspberri, Citron, Vanilla, Pears and Original, and changes colour when the vodka reaches the right serving temperature.
It is available in supermarkets, rrp £10, and includes simple recipes to help consumers make cocktails at home.

Liquor supplier Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Europe is showcasing in duty-free the new limited-edition gift pack from Absolut vodka for the holidays, Absolut Mode. Inspired by the world of fashion, the new edition was first launched at Stockholm Arlanda airport with The Nuance Group on September 6 and will be rolled out globally throughout the autumn.
Select markets will also feature walk-in closets presenting the Absolut vodka Crystal Pinstripe Bottle, an even more limited special edition crafted in hand-blown Swedish crystal.
