November 4, 2009: Some latest Absolut Vodka magazine ads
While everyone is waiting for the images of ABSOLUT VANCOUVER limited edition bottle I would like to ask about these magazine ads. Do you know in which magazines did they appear? One is promoting Absolut No Label bottle and comes in french language (so France or Canada?) and other two are promotin Absolut Rock edition. Just let me know in the comments.
October 27, 2009: Absolut Vancouver: New Absolut Vodka?
It looks like there is really going to be ABSOLUT VANCOUVER limited Absolut Vodka. It appeared in BC Liquor Stores website. See this site. Well… Absolut Vodka should announce it around 10th November 2009.

I have to admit that I really like the Absolut Reflexions magazine published by Absolut Vodka and because there are no information on the web I’ve decided to make special site with archive of all issues I’ll be able to collect. October 20, 2009: Absolut Tack and Absolut 20th Anniversary bottles
Right now there are two very interesting auctions on eBay. If you like to collect limited edition bottles produced by Absolut Vodka you should check out this ABSOLUT TACK bottle which is right now price of 819 USD. This bottle was produced for employees of Maxxium as a thanks present when Absolut was bought by Pernod & Ricard. Second bottle is called ABSOLUT 20th ANNIVERSARY and made in 500 copies in 1999 when Absolut Vodka celebrated 20th anniversary. Price on eBay is now on 1000 USD. Very nice and rare bottles!
October 20, 2009: The Flavor of the Tropics limited edition
Absolut vodka has launched a new limited edition, Flavor of the Tropics, at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The new product will be exclusive to the global duty-free channel and will be launched in Europe and the Americas in January 2010 and rolled out to the rest of the world in February.
The Flavor of the Tropics variety features the natural sweetness of orange, mango, lychee and melon, with noted of pineapple and berries, and comes in a collector’s bottle with bright orange and deep red highlights. The new Absolut flavour will be supported by a full-scale marketing campaign including advertising, in-store activities and tastings, moving media and installations.
The Absolut Company global travel retail director Anders Olsson said: “We are extremely excited about this unique launch. It’s the first time that we have the privilege of introducing a brand new, innovative flavour exclusively to our travelling consumers, who are always on the lookout for something new and thrilling—something that can’t be found back home. October 11, 2009: What was Absolut Reflexions magazine?
Absolut Reflexions was a brand magazine issued by Absolut Vodka since 1998(?) until 2006. I had a chance to collect some of the issues and made a list available here.
There are at least three types of design in history of Absolut Reflexions magazines. Until issue 02/1998 all magazines come with 12 pages with very large non standard size (about 33 000 copies of one issue distributed worldwide). Since 01/1999 magazine changed the size, it’s on 24 pages with hard paper (about 32-38 000 copies of one issue worldwide). All these magazines were distributed only to partners of Absolut Vodka, TBWA and related companies. Distributors, business partners and sometimes used on some promotional presentations.
Since Spring 2005 Absolut Vodka changed the style, size and distribution channel. 52 pages, more images and ads. And distributed for free all over the world (of course only in selected countries :) in bars and for example in Poland you could subscribe for free for every new issue. This magazine was for customers. Not for partners anymore. Last issue was released in 2006. As I know.
Older issues of Reflexions were know for spectacular ads inserted inside and sometimes only in Reflexions magazine.
I’m still looking for issues I dont have in my collection including some issues from 2004-2006. Do you have them? Let me know! I can trade for some other issues or buy them. If you just want to buy some of my doubles feel free to do that here on ebay.
